In 1996 Transport Canada designated Renaissance Aeronautics Associates Inc. (RAA) as an Approved Training and Maintenance Organization for Advanced Composite Aircraft Structural Repair.
In October of 1996, the Canadian Aviation Maintenance Council (now the Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace) issued to RAA accreditation #003 for instruction of Aircraft Structural Composites Technologies.
That same year, Wilson Boynton (President and founder of RAA) received the prestigious George Burwash -Langford Technology Award, presented by the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists in recognition of Wilson’s achievements in establishing and developing RAA to the highest level of excellence.
In 2005, the ACT brand was introduced as the training division of RAA.
ACT continues the RAA tradition of setting industry standards and providing the technical and hands on skills that ACT’s clients require and demand. ACT holds accreditation and approvals from the:

ACT Trainees receive a certificate of completion for the applied theory and skills achieved on all ACT courses.
